BC EstateMovers offers professional moving, cleaning, furniture assembly, and property turnover services across British Columbia. The scope, pricing, and details of each service will be defined through a formal agreement between you (the “Customer”) and
BC EstateMovers. All services are subject to the acceptance of these Terms.
3. Quotations and Pricing
All quotes are based on the information provided by the Customer. Changes in details (e.g., location, volume, or timing) may lead to adjusted pricing. Quotes are valid for a limited time as indicated in the estimate. BC EstateMovers reserves the right to modify pricing based on market conditions or service availability.
4. Booking and Payment Terms
A deposit may be required to confirm a booking. Full payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by credit card, bank transfer, or other approved methods. Late or non-payment may result in service delays or additional fees.
5. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least
7 days in advance. Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled service may incur a cancellation fee. BC EstateMovers reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to unforeseen events such as severe weather, safety issues, or operational disruptions.
6. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring all items are properly packed and ready for transport (unless packing is included in your service).
- Providing clear and safe access at both pickup and delivery locations.
- Securing insurance for items, if desired, as BC EstateMovers is not responsible for uninsured items.
- Accurately disclosing all relevant details (e.g., number of items, stairs, access limitations).
7. Liability
BC EstateMovers handles your belongings with care, but we are
not liable for:
- Items not packed securely by the Customer.
- Delays due to external factors like traffic, weather, or access issues.
- Damage to high-value or sensitive items (e.g., jewelry, artwork, documents) not disclosed in advance.
Our maximum liability for loss or damage is limited to the value of the service provided or as specified in our insurance coverage.
8. Insurance
We recommend customers secure appropriate insurance for their belongings. While BC EstateMovers provides
basic coverage, it may not include all types of damage or loss. Please discuss your insurance needs with us before your move.
9. Force Majeure
BC EstateMovers is not liable for service delays or failures due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, road closures, or unforeseen emergencies.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website (including text, images, graphics, logos, and design elements) is the intellectual property of BC EstateMovers or its licensors. You may not reproduce, use, or distribute any part of our content without written permission.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of
